Bernina SDT Embroidery Module M

The M embroidery module with Smart Drive Technology extends the BERNINA 5 Series machines with professional embroidery functions and enables even more creative design. Depending on the machine model, various embroidery functions are available, while the maximum embroidery area without offset is up to 265 × 165 mm (with optional embroidery hoop).

Two embroidery hoops are included in the scope of delivery: 255 × 145 mm and 130 × 100 mm – ideal for medium-sized and small embroidery designs. For normal embroidery work, the sewing machine's extension table can be used; for free-arm embroidery, it is simply removed.

Smart Drive Technology (SDT) ensures particularly smooth embroidery. It reduces vibrations, improves embroidery precision, and minimizes loop formation – for a consistent stitch pattern and significantly more stable results, even with finer designs or longer embroidery projects.
