The stitch selection
The BROTHER 4234D can do more than just join and finish. In addition to 3- and 4-thread stitching, it also offers rolled hems, flatlock seams, and blind hems. And best of all, the overlock comes with everything you need for these seams! The stitch tab can be removed for a rolled hem, and the matching foot for a blind hem is included. This foot also makes it easy to sew even flatlock seams.
The preparations
The threads run securely through the sturdy thread guide and are easy to thread thanks to color-coded threading paths. Once you reach the hook, a handy mechanism helps guide the thread to the correct side. Needles are also quick to load, as the BROTHER 4232D features an integrated needle threader. The cutter can be quickly engaged or disengaged as needed, and the stitch width can be adjusted between five and seven millimeters using the adjustable cutter.
Simply practical
This overlock machine processes various fabric types quickly and reliably, with both the differential feed and presser foot pressure continuously adjustable. The BROTHER 4232D's cut fabrics go straight into the waste bin. Behind this bin is a practical accessory compartment, eliminating the need to search for needles or screwdrivers. The free arm cover can be removed for sewing inside sleeves or trouser legs. For added convenience, all controls are located on the right side of the overlock machine.
