The PFAFF buttonhole foot for machines in groups J, K, and L allows for precise and even buttonholes with a professional appearance. Depending on the machine model, the buttonhole is sewn automatically, with both sides worked in the same direction to achieve a particularly even result. This creates clean, stable buttonholes with identical stitch density.
For special applications, the buttonhole foot is also suitable for manual sewing in clearly defined steps. This is particularly helpful for very small pieces of fabric or for buttonholes near reinforced edges. For stretchy or slippery fabrics, a light stabilizer such as water-soluble tissue paper is recommended to support a clean stitch pattern. Optionally, a gimp thread can be used to further increase the durability of the buttonhole.
The buttonhole foot is a reliable solution for uniform buttonholes in garments, accessories, and home textiles, optimally complementing the functions of PFAFF machines.
