SCHMETZ 134 Universal Needle Industrial Strength 100

The 134 Universal needle in size NM 100 was specially developed for industrial high-speed sewing machines and selected household high-speed sewing machines with a round shank. It combines the precision of the industrial system 134 with the versatility of a universal needle – for clean, stable and reliable seams.

The round shank with a diameter of 2 mm ensures exact positioning in machines that use this needle system. Thanks to its optimized geometry, the needle enables precise loop formation and consistent stitch quality – even at higher sewing speeds.

The extended thread groove reduces thread breakage, while the smaller eye supports particularly precise loop formation. Rounded edges in the area of the thread groove also ensure gentle thread feeding.

The slightly rounded point is ideal for numerous woven fabrics and robust materials. Size 100 is particularly suitable for heavier fabrics and thicker sewing threads.

⚠️ Note: This needle is not compatible with standard household sewing machines with a flat shank.
