SCHMETZ Leather Needles Size 100

The leather needle in size NM 100/16 has been specially developed for sewing strong, thick leather and firm, homogeneous materials. Its cutting point penetrates the material particularly powerfully and precisely, allowing for clean, even seams – even with thicker layers of leather.

The special point shape creates a slightly inclined stitch position, giving the seam a decorative, distinctive character. With a longer stitch length, this effect is further emphasized, especially in combination with thicker sewing thread.

The cutting action ensures controlled penetration of the material. To prevent the seam from tearing, a longer stitch length is generally recommended for leather.

⚠️ Note: Due to its cutting action, this needle is not suitable for textiles, as fabric or knit threads can be cut through.

The brown color marking facilitates quick identification among sewing accessories.
