SCHMETZ Leather Needles Size 80

The Leather Needle in size NM 80/12 was specially developed for sewing thin leather and similar homogeneous materials. Its cutting point penetrates the material particularly easily and ensures clean, powerful stitches.

The special point shape creates a slightly inclined stitch position. This gives the seam a decorative character, which is particularly desirable for visible seams. The longer the stitch length, the more pronounced this effect – in combination with thick sewing thread, the decorative effect can be further emphasized.

The cutting action allows precise penetration of the material without displacing it. At the same time, a longer stitch length should be chosen when sewing leather to prevent the seam from tearing out.

⚠️ Note: Due to its cutting action, this needle is not suitable for textiles, as woven or knitted threads can be cut through.

The brown color marking allows for quick identification in sewing accessories.
