SCHMETZ Super Stretch Needles Size 90 5-pack

The Super Stretch needle was specially developed for sewing highly elastic and delicate knit fabrics. Due to its special flat shank, it sits closer to the looper, making it easier to pick up the needle thread loop. The result: significantly fewer skipped stitches – even with highly elastic materials.

A special feature is the optimized shaft design, which ensures improved stability. This reduces needle breakage and supports particularly straight, clean stitches.

Thanks to the larger eye in combination with the widened thread groove, the Super Stretch needle is ideal for sewing with thicker sewing threads. The threads are protected, less stressed and break significantly less often – perfect for demanding stretch projects.

The medium ball point pushes aside the stitches instead of piercing them. This prevents material damage, runs, and pulled threads – ideal for jersey, lycra, spandex, swimwear, and sportswear.

The white color ring on the cone allows for quick and easy identification as a special needle.

The Super Stretch needle is suitable for all household sewing machines with the needle system 130/705 H as well as for selected overlock machines (please refer to the machine manual). Due to its properties, it is an excellent alternative to the classic stretch needle – especially when processing thicker sewing threads.
