SCHMETZ Stretch Twin Needles Size 75/4.0

With the Twin Stretch Needle 75/4.0, you can achieve particularly decorative, wide double topstitching on jersey and knit fabrics – all without a coverstitch machine. The 4.0 mm needle spacing creates a more prominent, visible seam appearance and is ideal for T-shirt hems and athletic designs.

The needle consists of two stretch needles connected by a bar with a flat shank. When sewing, two parallel seams are formed on the top side, while the bobbin thread runs in a slight zigzag pattern – this keeps the seam elastic and stretchable.

The medium ball point gently pushes the stitches aside and prevents holes or runs. Due to its special design, the needle sits closer to the hook, which significantly reduces skipped stitches, even with highly elastic fabrics.

The larger 4.0 mm spacing creates a wider, modern twin seam – perfect for visible finishes and sporty styles.
