The BERNINA L 850 offers 2-, 3-, and 4-thread overlock stitches for professional finishing, rolled hems, flatlock seams, and elastic applications. Its finely tuned differential feed ensures perfect edges without waves or puckering – ideal for jersey, sweat, knits, sportswear, and more. The precise knife system delivers clean, even cutting edges.

Extremely quiet, fast, and powerful

With up to 1,500 stitches per minute, the L 850 operates very quickly and at the same time exceptionally quietly and stably. The strong motor effortlessly sews through multiple layers and provides full control at all times. The perfect synchronization of looper, needles, and knife ensures a precisely coordinated stitch pattern.

Large sewing area and maximum comfort

The L 850 features the largest threading and working area in its class. The high presser foot lift system, bright LED lighting, and generous slide-on table make it easier to sew large fabric pieces, curves, and voluminous materials. Thanks to the BERNINA Free-Hand System (FHS), the presser foot can be raised with a knee lifter – keeping both hands on the fabric.
